?Walnut VV-111 on eBay

Post by CharliePhono »

This is an odd listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Victor ... 2808698334. It states the machine is a VV-XIa, yet in the photos it is clearly the desirable VV-111. Not only that, if you look at the pic of the inside of the lid, it appears to be walnut. This seller has zero feedback, and here's where it gets really weird: "Shipped with USPS First Class Package." for $4.81 . . .

At any rate, if a legit listing, this would be a machine worth going after.

The description is a new "feature" that eBay uses to provide a default description that the seller can update or not as s/he sees fit. It's simply the listing title, seller condition as stated, and shipping method, which eBay tries to figure out for the user. In this case, the use just took whatever eBay put there without editing anything.
