Ran across this rather peculiar listing for what looks like a very handsome Aeolian-Vocalion machine. Possibly walnut? The listing's a little odd: one picture, a seller with zero feedback, an already decent price with the opportunity to make an offer... I'm not hep to the jive on all the most recent eBay scams, but since this is local pick-up only, I can't imagine what could go wrong paying cash upon looking the machine over. Anyway, if it's on the up-and-up, looks like a machine worth having.

Re: Aeolian-Vocalion on eBay -- Illinois Pick-up
It’s a nice model, but I contacted the seller and it has a few mechanical problems. It’s missing the graduola, and he said the motor was thumping bad at times, but the springs probably just need cleaning. I thinks it’s fair price, and the cabinet is okay.
