Saw this, coming up in April. It has a TON of stuff. Some things here look strange, but this place is a treasure trove. They have a maroon gem (with both carriage styles on at once?) and an Edison Ajax!

Looks like some great treasures! If that large carriage and N reproducer are original to that Maroon Gem then it just might
be a rare model E Gem. I have only come across one model E Gem in my 50 years of collecting.

If you blow up the picture of the maroon Gem you can see the 2min & 4min markings making it a Model-D. Also I think th the other is a Climax concert cylinder machine introduced in 1901.

Went back and took a second look and it is definitely an Ajax. The difference is the Ajax is a Class M electric machine and the Climax is a crank machine. Both cabinets look alike. A beautiful Ajax sold at Stanton’s in October 2011 for $45,000 plus an 10% premium.

Can someone post a list of hammer prices for all the phonographs that sold at this auction held yesterday April 17? Thank you.

I'm guessing the purchaser got the Edison for a good price. I tried to reach out to the auction house for over two weeks with no success.
I tried their email, listed phone number and even a associated number I found on the net, all met with no response?
Hopefully a knowledgeable collector was close enough to attend in person as there were several nice machines in this auction (nice as can be attributed to single far away photos).
