During a concert the band of H.M.Coldstream Guards accompanied recordings of Tetrazzini, Melba and Caruso played on an Auxetophone. The Coldstream Guards were one of the first, if not the first, British military band to record commercially, and Lieut.J.Mackenzie Rogan rose through the ranks to become the Senior Bandmaster of the British Army.
