Brunswick Cortez on eBay

Post by JerryVan »

Looks really nice, but could use more photos. Note however, the record drawers are missing, (maybe they have them???).

I saw that, it does look very nice. There are four record drawers in the last picture with the records in them.
I suppose it is a way to remove the records to make it lighter. Maybe that is why my Columbia-Kolster 901 is missing the record drawers? Does anyone have a pair of drawers?

At $400 that machine is a steal. I sold mine for about 1100 dollars and it had a few veneer issues on the lid. Someone should buy it quick!

Was the $1100 back in the good ole days? We will see what it brings today. Your profile doesn't list what state you are in. I guess you are not close or you could double your money.

No, I sold my Cortez about 2 years ago. I was moving back from post grad an downsizing. I think some Chinese guy bought it and shipped it over to Asia.

I can see that. I would drive up to 3 hours to buy it. But it is 1500 miles from me.

The seller has five sales and the Cortez is to be sent for $103 by USPS Priority. Good luck with that!

It is over 4000 miles from me, otherwise it would be in my workshop by now. I doubt that one exists in the UK.

There is one about 600 km from you, in Luxembourg, but it is not for sale. It cost me more than the one on eBay, though (but it has the drawers). ;)
