VV-XI Tabletop on Craigslist, West of Hartford, CT

Post by Cody K »

Here's a 1910-'11 early tabletop version VV-XI on Craigslist for $100. Looks like there are a couple of things going on with it that will need attention, but overall a scarce machine at a price that's probably worth the effort. I'd consider getting it myself but I don't have the time for a 200-mile round trip. https://hartford.craigslist.org/atq/d/m ... 79530.html

Cody, This is a scarce and desirable machine. The price is cheap. I would make the round trip for this. This will be a nice companion for your Columbia Elite. Hopefully the seller isn't playing games.

Ha, I know Harvey! It looks like a nice example, in easily restorable shape. It'd be a ridiculously nice experience to do sound tests side-by-side with its market-competition, the Elite, and have a "Battle of the 'Olas"! I said above that I don't have the time, but the truth is I've got some stuff going on with my dog, and I just can't work up the energy. I really hope someone on the forum can grab it. Ripduf's close by, I think.
