Early HMV102 problems

This eBay offering illustrates the two main problems which can beset the earliest version of the HMV102.

The "Universal Autobrake" has failed and been completely removed, to be replaced by a non-HMV outside rim manual brake.
The repairer could at least have sourced and fitted an HMV manual brake.
The "sealed for life" No.16 soundbox has also failed and has been replaced with a later model.
Just to add to it's deficiencies, the record storage tray has gone missing.
