Rare HMV Intermediate Monarch with mahogany horn?

Looking at this I suspect it has the rarely seen double-spring motor fitted as it possible dates from WW1 period when single spring motor stocks were in short supply? Why do I think this? The winding handle type and position is unusual for an Intermediate Monarch. If I didn't already have a better condition example I would be tempted enough to ask the vendor for a picture of the motor.
