Not sure where is the best place to post this.
On Tuesday 19th July the Science Museum in London is hosting a full-day seminar on "Acoustics on Display:Exhibiting Museums' Sound Collections and History"
The day begins at 09:30 with registration and welcome with the talks commencing at 10:15 with presenters from the Science Museum and the University of Nottingham
After lunch at 13:45 there is a two-hour "Demonstration Workshop" by Christopher Proudfoot (CLPGS President) and Aleks Kolkowski of the Science Museum followed by a discussion lead by George Revell of the Open University.
The day ends with a workshop session on "Writing Music for the film "Museums of the New Age" (1928)
Primarily aimed at full-time Museum staff/curators, this seminar is open to the public but by free admission ticket only. Tickets are available on
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/acoustic ... 5972655913
This event had been shown as "Sold Out" which is why I hadn't posted earlier but it appears some more tickets have now been released.
Hope to see some of you there
