The Antique Phonograph Society

is the world's largest organization of collectors and sound recording historians who share a passion for the preservation of antique phonographs, gramophones, and records. The organization, formally begun in January 2014, is comprised of officers and members of the former California Antique Phonograph Society and the former Michigan Antique Phonograph Society.

Our highly-respected Journal is The Antique Phonograph, and it features the same Editorial teams and writers who made The Sound Box and In The Groove the successful publications they have been for many years. The Antique Phonograph is published quarterly, and contains 52 full-color pages of outstanding original research and scholarship from the foremost names in the antique phonograph/record field. To see a sample issue and learn more about The Antique Phonograph Society, visit our website at:

http://www.antiquephono.org.

The website includes upcoming events and items for sale. There are also a variety of written articles of interest to collectors, as well as technical papers and a full-length book feature. More articles are on the way, and future additions will be announced here.

We welcome all collectors of antique phonographs, gramophone, and records to join us!

This publication most certainly takes up where others end. Very informative!

My personal "thank you" to the guest writers for their diligence in keeping history alive. :)

I figured as long as I have a few phonographs I'd better see
what this magazine and society were all about, so I just joined
and just got the March issue. It's a very informative magazine.
Looking forward to the next issue already.

Welcome aboard, Gene!

Glad you liked the March issue, and we hope you'll enjoy future issues at least as much. :)

Best,
