All three episodes of this slightly flawed but entertaining series are being repeated on BBC4 on Friday 31st July from 21:00 hrs. So, if you missed it first time round, here is another opportunity to see the series charting the history of popular song simce the invention of the talking machine.

Thanks for the tip off, Tim.
Although I did watch all 3 episodes previously I shall probably enjoy watching them all over again. I found it got better as it progressed with the last episode actually being the most interesting of the lot (although nothing whatsoever to do with the talking machine era).
