The next meeting of the City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society (CLPGS) will be on Tuesday 18th November at 19:00 hours in the Bertand Russell Room of the Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1 4RL (nearest tube staion:Holborn)
The presenter will be Bill Dudman on the subject of "Film Music". This is likely to be a bit of a departure from our normal programmes of gramophone records and cylinders, so it should make for a fascinating evening.
Admission is free and all, members and non-members alike are welcome.
Hope to see some of you there on Tuesday.
All the best
Tim W-W

Meanwhile out in the sticks the West of England Group convened for a meeting yesterday afternoon, the theme of which was "Music for a Garden Fete". How quintessentially English!
Afterwards my wife and I had to hurry home for a concert by the Wessex Big Band in our village hall. A busy day!
