It's Annual Renewal Time!

Post by phonogfp »

February's coming to an end soon, and that means the March 2015 issue of The Antique Phonograph is due out in a few days! :D

In addition to the outstanding journal, our Antique Phonograph Society Board members are working on developing presentations for the Union and Buena Park phonograph/record shows, formatting and posting another major article to the website, and other activities of interest to the collecting community.

However, in looking over figures of past APS members who have not yet renewed, I'm surprised with 1) the large number who have renewed late (after February 1 in response to recently emailed and/or snail mail "reminders"), and 2) the significant number who have yet to renew. Sending out these notices consumes many hours of work, and hundreds of dollars in expenses every year. We've seen growth each year over the past three, and we are grateful to each of our members for their support. But we are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization, with no paid staff. We would respectfully ask that, if you have not yet renewed your membership in the APS for 2015, please take a moment to do so now. We promise to do our best to make you glad you did! :)

You can log on and renew on the website: http://www.antiquephono.org

...or follow the instructions on the mailer below:

Thanks to all who have or will renew for 2015! :)

God is sucks getting old. Is there anyway to verify if I have already renewed?? I thought that I did it online when I received the last notice in December but with all the hoopla revolving around the Xmas season, I may have dropped the ball.

You're good, Gary! Our records show you paid on December 13, 2014. THANKS! :)

It may not always be pleasant getting old, but it beats the alternative! :)

Thanks George..

Is there a place on the http://www.antiquephono.org website that others could double check for themselves to be certain they are on board???.

And I (for one) appreciate it! :D

Thank you both for your professionalism!
