CLPGS: Summer Phonofair 25th June - Powick Worcestershire
Posted: Thu Jun 23, 2016 6:47 am
This years Phonofair organised by the City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society will take place on Saturday 25th June in the Powick Village Hall, Old Malvern Road, Powick, Worcestershire, WR2 4RT.UK.
There will be traders from across the country buying and selling Phonographs, Gramophones cylinders and records; in fact anything and everything relating to our hobby.
Admission is free again this year to CLPGS members (just tell us who you are at the door) and entry to the public is a very reasonable £2.00. Some of the best and best value, catering in the West Midlands will again be provided by the "volunteers" - thanks Ladies, we couldn't do it without you.
Doors open at 9 o'clock and things tend to wind down at about 2 o'clock so come early and grab that thing you have been looking for.
Powick is situated about half way between historic Worcester and scenic Great Malvern so there will be plenty to do in the area after the Phonofair.
Do come along and enjoy the perfect day in the country.
There is ample free parking at the hall but buses run every 10 minutes (service No.44/44C) from Worcester Crowngate Bus Station or Great Malvern and stop on the main road about 150 yards from the venue.
I hope to see many of you there on Saturday.
