A visit to Ron Haring's home

Post by audiophile102 »

I drove out to Ron Harings home in Plano, Illinois today in order to obtain a replacement spring for my A250. Ron was kind enough to search his LARGE inventory of parts, but alas no A250 spring was found. He then showed me is inventory of around 100 phonographs, all of which are for sale. My jaw hit the floor after he showed me his two story barn and storage buildings. If you have been searching for a phonograph, be sure to contact Ron. Many of his phonographs are very high quality, but he has something for everyone.

I'm going to be contacting Ron Sitko about a replacement spring tomorrow.

Don't want to sound like a stickler, but his name is Ron Haring, not Ron Herring.

Not quite, it’s HARING, not Hering or Herring

My own name has been misspelled and mispronounced my entire life, so much so that for the first 50 years I simply used “Ray”.

At least the subject of this thread isn't named Red Herring.

He used Herring just for the Halibut...
