I have a similar issue (loss of volume) with my Amberola X linkage between reproducer and horn. Obviously not going to be fixed with glue but would be interested if there is a solution. I've never been able to solve it.

I have not tried it but from experience I would imagine STP oil treatment will do the trick. STP does not harden and will not creep out. The capillary proprieties is amazing. You have the added advantage of the linkage being lubricated at the same time.

If you try it let me know how it worked out for you.
