Jeff, this is awesome! The Puck equivalent of a disc player. The motor construction seems to be identical to my Puck Lyraphone. Are there any markings anywhere on the machine or base that could identify the maker? I'll need to keep my eyes open for one like this, I like it. 8-)

could it be one of the fabled bettini puck machines his paris firm prety much introduced the puck
seeing that the horn has a red interior makes me think its probably french many french firmes used the witch-hat with red interior

I did inspect thoroughly this gramophone but didn't find any marking so we just called it “the mystery gramophone”!
For the horn, the shape and red color are similar to some Zonophone horns sold in Europe.
I don't have data on Bettini pucks and as well no Bettini machines whatsoever!

My landlord and her son were up from Maryland on Monday of last week.He took pictures of some of my phonographs.I would like to post the photo of the Yale Bluebird that he sent to my Hotmail.How do I do that?edisonplayer

To post a pic, just click "Post Reply" like sending any reply to the forum. Then scroll down below the reply window to "Upload Attachment" (just below Submit) - go to Filename and click "Choose File" - which will take you to your computer directory. Choose the picture you would like to upload from your computer, by clicking on the filename.jpg or other format. Then click "Add the file" and you are done. Click Submit (below Add the file) and your reply along with your pic will be shown on the forum... easy, once you know how to do it...
