Just obtained this and am so excited!!!
cranking the handle is so great, it just spins and spins.... hahahahaha... well, maybe not attached? with help from great people here, got into the mechanism.... set it out as it was found... in pieces..

Judy, Your best bet would probably be to buy a complete working motor. These are pretty easy to find and very reasonable for Brunswick machines. Since you didn't take this motor apart, it might be pretty difficult for you to get it back together again and working(parts may be missing). It's hard to see from the picture what all is there.
