The little Yale is very interesting. Would you like to trade up for a VW Bus? It drives around an LP and plays it. I think it was made in the 80's. Jerry

The Yale Bluebird is a very special machine to me.It was given to my mom by Jerry Donnell when my sister Grace, myself.and our mom rode down in Grace's Ford truck when we went down to Jerry's to pick up a C-250 Diamond Disc machine that was purchased in 1919 by Minerva Witz from E.F.Droop and Sons in Washington,DC.We also picked up a Credenza. We remember sitting on Jerry's porch when he brought the Bluebird out to mom.Jerry said to her,"NOW you have a victrola!"That was on September 10,2002(12 years ago yesterday).I recently had it done by Tim Fabrizio.Mine and Grace's mom passed away in 2011,and Jerry is gone now as well. The Yale Bluebird remeinds me of both of them! :D edisonplayer

That Yale Bluebird is an example of a machine with specific sentimental feelings... thanks for sharing it...

This battery operated machine was marketed as a child's toy and was made well into the 1950's, accompanied by a selection of records under the "Kidditunes" label. They are still quite commonly found, but not always with their original boxes :

Wow, a lot of neat machines here. This one is certainly not the smallest, but it is amongst the smaller. Closed size is 5 ¾ X 6 ¾ X 11 inches. No brand shown on it, but it was referred to by the seller as a "Picnic Phonograph". Appears to be 1930's vintage. Russie

Thanks for resurrecting this thread, I had completely forgotten about it. So many cute little machines.

Here is my Pathé Modèle numéro 0 „Le Démocrate“. It is a very basic cylinder player and I would not want to play any wax cylinders on it. But with a modern resin cylinder it plays "loud and clear", just like the logo says: " Je Chant Haut Et Clair".

Andreas,
I love your Pathé... some of most interesting European machines.
