Make: Victor
Model: Victor V
Serial #: Vic V 45466A
Year(s) Made: 1909 - 1915 this one about 1910
Original Cost: ???
Case/Cabinet Size: 16 ½" X 16 ½" X 7 ¼"
Turntable 12" yielding pressed metal
Sound-Box: Exhibition spring lever
Motor: 3 spring
Horn Dimensions: Music Master spruce 24" X 21"
Reproduction Parts: None
Current Value: ???
Interesting Facts: Sports a mahogany Douglas case and Music Master spruce horn. I don't know if Douglas started with complete Victor machines adding their cabinets or just used Victor parts for their cabinets. So other members will need to fill in and add information about the Douglas Phonograph Co.

Best Regards, Larry

Larry, I'm going to cry now... These mahogany 5's are very classy. the Music Master horn just adds further class. The one I owned, had a badly warped top. In fact, two others I have seen over the years had the same problem. I wonder if this was an inherent issue...??.
I wish I kept mine now. Oh well, as my Wife say's...."you can't keep everything"......   .

That's gorgeous!! It reminds me so much as a large Victor IV. A very nice machine, indeed.

A beautiful and interesting variation of the Victor V - - thanks for posting it. :)

By the way, is the cabinet marked or identified in a catalog or advertisement? I'm interested in how it was identified as a Douglas. :)

That is a beauty.

I don't mean to be gauche, but what would be a fair value for that very machine ? $ 2000.00 or so?
