New Article at APS: The Edison Electric Automatic Stop

If you've ever peered into an Edison Disc Phonograph C-250 and wondered about that wire hanging from the neck of the horn, or the mysterious metal brace in the left rear corner of the motor compartment, or why that Disc Reproducer has a hole drilled in the back, this new article will give you all the answers and then some. It's titled The Edison Electric Automatic Stop, and was written by forum member Fran Pratt.
Often called the "Duncan Stop" by modern collectors, it turns out the real designer wasn't Duncan at all! Fran's article is well-researched and offers more information on this well-known accessory than anywhere else - including Frow's essential book, The Edison Disc Phonographs and the Diamond Discs.
