Geez, George, what a great job! Having seen the lid in person a couple of weeks ago, I wouldn't recognize it as the same one! :shock:

Very nice, and what a great addition to your "Spear & Co." Eagle.

What a nice little find! Well worth the effort to bring it back to life and it looks very good.

I stumbled upon this old thread while searching for something else. I figured it would be worth adding one more dealer label that's even more unusual than the decals / rubber stamp.
