Unidentified Gramophone Horn

Post by Carlo 1963 »

Hi everybody! I was sent some photos of a horn gramophone on sale, but I can't figure out which brand it is. The price: 100 bucks, but in my opinion it's too much. Can someone hlep me, please?

You need to post pictures of the entire machine. It cannot be identified from the horn alone.

If it's a complete original, that's a bargain, but for a crapophone or fankenphone it's probably a reasonable price.
I guess it really depends if for $100 you are buying a horn gramophone or gramophone horn?
It's not entirely clear which it is.
For the horn by itself, yes it's too much.

Thanks epigramophone and gramophone shane! I'm (not) buying a horn gramophone, but a gramophone horn... Anyway, I obviously agree with the need to see a photo of the whole gramophone; but the problem is that the whole machine doesn't exist... In my opinion this horn isn't worth a purchase, and it costs too much, in relation to its poor conditions. I mean, it's not a Morning Glory and I don't need an extra horn!

Crapophone horns seem to be on the small side and costing under 50 bucks or less, what are the dimensions of the horn ?

This one is only 14 inches across and only 13 inches deep, it's almost square.
