How about a picture?

It would have to be in very fine condition indeed to be worth the asking price but a truly minty one doesn't show up often.
Carryola Master is an "off brand" but was quite popular in the 1920s, with a very typical design that captures the Jazz Age's aesthetic. It would be a beautiful machine if you can get it.

I agree with Van. Most of these portables have had a ruff life: Missing handles, scuffed case with peeling fabric, damaged reproducer. $175 seems way too high unless it is in absolutely mint condition which would be extremely rare.

Try forty bucks!
These old portables are somewhat difficult to service when they lose their leatherette fabric as it's always annoying to replace a pattern which might not be produced anymore.
