At Union my good friend Dan Melvin suggested I check out a very interesting accessory "Edison" piece of Steuben Glass that Stephen Madera was selling. I'd seen the same piece in Dan's collection and a few others and always admired the piece. As Stephen explained, the lighted profiles of Edison, captured in Steuben Glass, were part of the table decorations at the 1929 50th anniversary of Edison's successful and practical electric light. Now it has a prominent spot in my basement.

Very nice piece Jerry. I've see a couple sell for between $700 and $1100 over the past few years.
