I have a question regarding the speed knob on an Edison S-19 Sheraton.
The knob is turned fully up, but the turntable is still to slow. Can anyone help me with this?
Paal.

Re: Edison DD Phono Speed Knob Question
that would be hard to determine without more detail, I think. usually a turntable running slowly despite a good spring(s) is caused by the governor or the speed control itself, which might need some adjusting... at least based on my experience.

Re: Edison DD Phono Speed Knob Question
Hi Paal,
The speed knob it connected to an arm that is articulated in the center that adjusts the throw of the speed control arm to the pressure plate. It can be easily adjusted with a screw driver. It is the large screw on the arm just to the right of the spring in the picture below.
