Archeophone

I see that there was an Archeophone sold in an auction in New York today. It was #12 so several years old. There probably have been others sold but this is the first one I have seen in the aftermarket. They are so expensive it would be interesting to know the sale price. Anyone know anything about this sale or the past sales of this instrument. I know it is made in France and that Kurt Nauck hendles USA sales but my impression was that only institutions such as film producers and or high tech folks and universities could afford the price. Kurt had this machine at Union three or four years ago and did a demonstration of its operation. Very neat but lots of bucks.
