That is odd. I wonder if the reproducer was detachable so that a hill & dale reproducer could be fit to it as well. Weird back-mount! Smallish turntable. Ultra-late Talk-O-Phone?

What a strange bunch of parts we have here. Everything is reminiscent of something I've seen before, but with enough differences to where I say, "Nah, that's not it."

I was thinking Talk-O-Phone for a few of these parts as well... particularly how the horn fits into a sleeve on the back-mount. However, the reproducer and motor are completely different from my Talk-O-Phone, and the case is not ornate at all, unlike most Talk-O-Phone machines. Weird!!!!

I think some very late Talk-O-Phones were in Model A Standard Disc cases. The two Talk-O-Phones I've owned -- a 'Herbert' and an 'Eagle' -- were front mount and the speed controls were on the top board. This one seems to have the speed control/brake passing through the side of the case like a Columbia. That beveled turntable is so familiar to me!

It's a very late Zon-O-Phone, hence the Victor looking parts.

I'm shocked and appalled that the backmount is so dumbed-down on this example. The horn doesn't even swivel! Thanks for the clarification Jerry Van.

I didn't want to embarrass myself last night when reading this thread, but I thought it was a Zon-o-phone as well. Is it a very early model?

Ahh, I thought it was either early or late. Any estimate of the date of production?

My first impression was late Zonophone also. Thanks Jerry.
