I just saw this on my local Craigslist. Anyone every play with one of these? My mom once told me about making a record when she was a kid in the late 40's or early 50's in her uncle's home. I always wondered what kind of machine that may have been and I guess it may have been one of these. This one looks pretty neat with a lot of records too.

These are interesting devices, but they will cost $$$ if you want to get one working again. The crystal cartridges (with both a player and recorder head) are past their shelf life, and will need to be rebuilt. Also, as with most tube circuitry of this era, the circuitry will need to have new capacitors put in.
