Re: unknown phonograph
At the risk of coming off as a complete twit, what does the logo on the underside of the lid read?

Re: unknown phonograph
Tyrela was founded in 1922 by E.F.Tyler, specialising in period style cabinet machines of which the model pictured is the best known. It was sold from 1922 to at least 1927.
Although the sides are made of plywood and the "inlay" designs are transfers, it's compact dimensions and attractive appearance make it popular with collectors, but don't expect great sound quality.

They were made in this circular form, and a larger oval one. Both very pretty, the sound quality is average.

Re: unknown phonograph
I have one of the larger oval ones in really nice shape. Garrard motor that's silent. Nice reproducer and I think they sound pretty damned good for something with such a small horn.
