H&S Horn Question
I have a large Hawthorn & Sheble horn that I can tell has been painted at some time in the past. Where all of the large horns original silk covered or were some of them painted?

Re: H&S Horn Question
Most of the H&S horns were painted. The "Silk Finish" was a special extra-cost feature.

You're welcome. By the way, the horn shown in the photo is a Tea Tray Company product.

Re: H&S Horn Question
Then I stand corrected. I've never seen a riveted H&S bracket. I'd be obliged for a clear photo of that for my files! Thanks -

Re: H&S Horn Question
Thanks for the photo. Now I see that those aren't rivets at all, but the embossing. Darn it - I was hoping for a new hanger type!
Long ago I swore off responding when poor photos obscure important details - I really must stick to it. Thanks for the new photo!
