Need some help. I have this Victrola VV-XI and need to get the record shelves out. There is so much stuff behind then. I don't want to break then. It will be going back in. Jerry

Yes I want to take the shelves out.

If they are like my VV-X there are trim strips at the sides and the bottom shelf is nailed to the case bottom. Remove the strips and nails and the shelves should slide out as a unit.
