I have this Westrola machine that I need to find a replacement reproducer for. I understand that some of the "off-brand" machines used parts that are not as available as famous name machines. I was hoping someone could help me identify the reproducer so that I can get a replacement.

The reproducer (sound box) is very close in style to this one --

-- which is actually a
Cecilian, not "Cecilign" as the seller identifies it.

Can it be rebuilt? The outer rings break easily but people have those I assume?

I have a similar reproducer (without the ridges on the edge). It looks like someone attempted a rebuild using gaskets for a victor 2 reproducer which may have been too much for the ring holding them in. If you want to try mine send me an im with your address and I'll send it off.

Check with Player Piano Clinic in Illinois. I know he had alot of these tone arms and reproducers for the independent brand machines. What you have appears to be one of the tone arms and reproducers by Heineman which made them for many of the independent brands. There were different variations in the reproducer so you may have to just buy the reproducer and tone arm as a set.
