This has been one of my more challenging projects. Not completely done yet, but well on my way. I still am working on the upper and lower film reel holders, but I see light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm a rank amateur as compared to some of you. I have only tackled heavy duty finish cleaning and some minor wood repairs. Stripping and veneering I have yet to do. This is a VV-X that had some wood damage and a finish that was very very dirty but no veneer lifting or damage. What could I hurt by learning on this one. I am proud of repairing stripped screws from a botched repair of the lid hinge. My next goal on this is to do the resto on the Victor plate at some point. A winter project.

It is hard to believe that some of these restorations began with so little to work with.
