Believe it or not, this phonograph belongs to someone who lives close to my in-laws.
I hate to see it go to the dump, but it appears to me that the bottom has rotted away from water damage and it's now sitting on a piece of wood???
Worth trying to save?

I have requested many more photos.

ABSOLUTELY worth saving! 90% of the rest of it looks pretty good. Also, those leather panels will clean up very easily with Goop or Gojo.

That's just about what my TLP Credenza looked like when I got it.

Gene I agree with the other, go for it. What do you have to lose.

To me it looks like the bottom veneer has come off and the bun feet are coming apart. Not that it's sitting a separate piece of wood

I agree with Larry.

Also, not certain (might be optical illusion), but the center doors might be slightly "racked" (Parallelogrammed), but this could be corrected.

Worth attempting to save, even if this means passing it along to another hobbyist who can perform the work....

I would definitely save that one. You may have to find a donor machine to help rebuild the missing trim pieces on the bottom, but IMHO it would easily be worth it.

The reason I thought that the Credenza might be sitting on a piece of wood, is that the missing trim does not appear to be as thick as the bare wood in the photo.
It may just be the angle of the photo that makes it appear that way.
Does anyone agree?

The machines you posted have two different style bottom moldings.

This angle may give you a better idea. If you take the banding directly under the doors into account,
I think you have a similar distance to the bun feet.
