Oh I love the Edison 150s. Such graceful cabinets. Is it an A or a B?

Glad to see you and the machine made it home safely. It was great talking with you also.Careful, I bought my 1st DD machine a few years ago, I now am down to six Edison uprights with this one sold.Dedrums wrote:Picked up this beauty on Saturday at Wayne. For those interested. The best guess to the amount of B-150's produced is at 3158 according to Frow page 105. Not all had the grained horn like this one, as many went with the all black horn, which is used in most later models. How many are grained as opposed to the all black is still under debate.I believe it only sold in 1915 till stock ran out. Of course anyone with any corrections and/or additions feel free to chime in. The reproducer is the early 4 screw bottom A series.
In short, is not liberty the freedom of every person to make full use of his faculties, so long as he does not harm other persons while doing so?

Congratulations, you've acquired a very nice B 150.
Would you be willing to post a nice, clear, close-up picture of the data plate for me? I'd like to examine it for "hints" as to the possible production period.
Thank you,
Fran
