I second this! Wyatt does a fantastic job (Micamonster on the forum). And, he is pretty quick at it as well.

I ended up picking this reproducer up on eBay for $30. Great price. Others here have raved about it! So I am waiting for it to come in now!

That's a nice reproducer. I almost bought it myself. The advice you've gotten about having one professionally restored is something you should consider. I think this is maybe the 3rd reproducer you've purchased. Maybe it'll be o.k., but chances are, it will need work too. It's possible that by the time you're done, you'll have paid out enough to have had one restored, but still not have a good one.

Whatever route you take, I hope you end up with something you can enjoy.

Thanks!! The seller stated it works fine and offered a 30 money back guarantee. So we shall see. At this point I am confident enough to rebuild myself. I have learned a ton over the past 2 weeks about these reproducers. I've done everything but remove the needle bar. But yeah I feel confident this one is going to sound great.

I will say right now that it has been dropped. This later style portable soundbox doesn’t have a diaphragm spider, but the needle bar is soldered to diaphragm in Center. Zoom in. Center of diaphragm is all wrinkled up.

Well I paid $30. If it works as is then great. If not then I will restore. Thanks for the input.
