Wanted to share...new horn!

Post by EdisonWizard »

Thanks to a wonderful member here, I was able to get this nice horn and pair it with my triumph D2 which was acquired from another member here. Goes to show how awesome this community is. It looks and sounds BEAUTIFULLY! Uploading a video to YouTube now for those interested playing a WW1 Song.

Yes it is! Very impressed. This is my first wood horn, and I was shocked at how light it was.

Nice machine and horn. I really like the cylinder. What is the number on it? I'm going to look for that cylinder.

Per Sutton's book, it's Elaine Gordon, dubbed from Diamond Disc master 6192-B but not released on Diamond Disc. She has one other BA (3542, Derby Day in Dixie), also dubbed from an unreleased DD.

Very cool tidbit. Thanks! I was gonna look it up in the book but I got lazy tonight lol.

Was this common to release on BA but not DD?
