I can't log into the APS website and they don't respond

Post by marcapra »

I tried to log into the APS website to read an article on the Amberola 1A by George Paul, but I can't log in. when I clicked the "Forgot your password" link, I got no reply and also got no reply when I emailed the guy in charge. So, can someone help me with logging in. Yes, I am a member with dues paid up. Marc.

Marc,

Eight days ago, 10 October, when your original query arrived, a response was sent to:

marc_hampton@xxxxxxxx.xxx

Following is that response.

Is it possible the message ended-up in your SPAM folder?

Your Password has been re-set to:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

At your convenience, you should login and change this password to something different by using the Profile tab after you login.

It's a thankless job, isn't it Rod? ;)

Should anyone ever not get a response from the APS, please try a second email. Incoming messages from the "Contact Us" page on the web site are monitored by multiple Board members, and when we see them answered by a Board member (as this was), we all assume everything's been resolved.

Since my name is Marc Capralis, why would you send a response to a Marc Hampton?

The PASSWORD was re-set on the date of the original request. An error in our Automated email system substituted another email address for some reason and I didn't catch it. I apologize for the error and you should now have full access.
