Sonora cabinet

Post by Tmahan72 »

Anyone know anything about Sonora cabinet models? I found one in pretty rough shape for $65. Is it worth it?

The facetious answer would be

"I have a cupboard at home whats it worth?"

Sonora made many cabinet machines, some are worth little, the very top end of the range, worth quite a lot. I think that if you post a picture, someone here can answer your question. :clover:

Excuse the boxes on top. It's a picture I took in an antique store. It's $65. I'm wondering if it's worth a restore or is it too much work?

That is a plain model, near their bottom end. OK for $65 if nothing is broken, but that is about all it is worth in parts.

Your 1912 Victrola is a lot nicer than this.
