Very nice! Like you said they are usually overpriced or junky. I had one that I bought back in 2005, it was a front crank earlier model, the condition was great and ended up selling it back in 2013 when I had some financial hardship. Do I regret selling it? Yes. I also had a minty Edison P-1, you rarely find those in complete and good condition either.

There are still good machines out there to be had, but a lesson that I have learned, after you sell a minty machine, you may never find another.

Come to think about it, my VV-50 was thumping and when I rebuilt the motor, I found out that there was no grease in the spring barrel, the spring was totally clean, I wondered if the company actually forgot to grease the spring. After lubing the mainspring, it was quiet. :roll:
