What can you buy for $100?

Well my friends, today the answer is a gorgeous early VV-50 in oak! I’ve been casually looking for a nice oak 50 for a while, but they are always overpriced or junky. A few days ago I stumbled upon this gem on eBay of all places, and the machine was at a local(ish) pawn shop in Flint, MI. The starting bid was $99, so I figured why not. Well, I won for a grand total of $113 and just picked it up today. It’s in far better shape than I thought, I couldn’t be more pleased!

Rich,

I didn't post any links. If you mean the 5 photos I uploaded, they appear fine on my iPhone and computer as well.

Same here. I don't see photos, just links to the jpeg files. When I click them I get something like "The selected attachment does not exist anymore". Tried it in both IE and Chrome.

Ok, I think they are fixed. I'm pretty sure my iPhone took them as "live photos" which are totally pointless and only serve to capture me swearing while I'm taking a photo of something.

No, it looks like photos from more than just your thread disappeared / only show as links. Must have happened the last hour or so. Maybe some drive problem on the server?

The latest uploaded pictures from this thread also changed to links. I was able to see them as pictures just an hour or so ago http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... 2&start=20. Other pictures uploaded earlier seem fine...

Must be a browser/OS issue, because the work fine for me (on an iPhone & Mac)
