Victor VV-IX female crank ?

Victor VV-IX female crank ?
I'm working on a VV-IX table model that is missing its crank - but the shaft coming out of the motor is threaded something I have never seen... my other VV-IX has the typical male threaded crank. The machine in question does not look altered and the shaft seems original to the machines motor. Where can one find a VV-IX female crank since I never knew they even existed ?? Confused.

Early VV-IX models had the female crank. I have a couple in the collection, each sitting on its original schoolhouse "pushmobile" (tea cart). I'm guessing the serial number is fairly low on this?

I agree with Doug. The IX was the most popular table model Victrola with a lid and it was made for a very long time. The early IX came with a motor that was only slightly different than a Victor III motor and took a female threaded crank. The long crank on the Victor II that is in the Trader and eBay/Craigslist part of the Forum is a crank that would possibly be correct for your IX.
