National phonograph toy help please
I recently purchased one of the phonograph toy boxers and didn't realize it was missing the little round wooden? part that fits on the spindle. Does anyone sell replacements? If not, would it be really difficult to make one? If someone would be kind enough to take some pictures of that part with measurements maybe my better half could make me one. Thanks, Jan

Here it is. It's 1" in diameter and ½" tall. The rod that engages the mechanism is simply a nail. There is a ¼" metal ring around the bottom end; the wood piece is cut down in order to accommodate that. I'm sure that's just to reinforce the wood where it fits onto the turntable, it should work fine without such reinforcement.
