It's from a VV XIV currently in an antique store near me. He removed the motor to work on it and did not replace the needle when he finished.

I have only seen one of these indicators, on either a XVI or XIV. Somewhere I have pictures; I'll see if I can find them.

Must be something in the water. I'm nearly done with a couple of articles doing something similar for Edison cylinder players--identifying parts and showing examples of the basic model line a beginner would be most likely to encounter (Gem; Standard; Home; Triumph; and the Amberolas 30, 50, and 75). Great idea for the website, and good luck getting it up and running!
