"I found this nice VV-X at an antique store in Galveston. The price for the Victrola and record cabinet is $650.00. Is this a fair price?"
Since the answer is overwhelmingly "YES", did you buy it or are you waiting for someone else to grab it? If you aren't buying it, please post the name of the antique store so someone else on the forum can get it...

I agree. Looking forward to a follow up.

Re: VV-XI with matching record cabinet: what is it worth? Up
Update: I did buy it a week ago, but since my wife and I were going on a cruise, the shop agreed to hold it for me until today. The really good news is that they found the gold reproducer AND, because I offered cash, I got it for $550.00! I am thrilled! It is now in my pickup ready to be transported back home to Oklahoma. I'll post more pics once it's in its new home. Thanks to all who provided advice. Roy

Congrats on a really nice machine and cabinet. And they knocked the price down, and found the reproducer. Enjoy it for many years to come.

Great going and excellent buy. You should have taken it on the cruise and enjoyed it. You could have had a roaring 20s flapper nite with some foxtrots. Tom B
