Found this....

Post by MikeB »

This isn't the Holy Grail, but kind of neat. I found this last weekend. It's a Lindstrom toy phonograph #276, maybe from the 1930's - 1940's? I plugged it in, it works, and I didn't burn the house down. It sounds like a washing machine of the same vintage, and it produces music, in its own sickly and charming way, though it is no Victrola. Someone interestingly put a Vocalion reproducer on it. For the $25 that I paid, it is a good item to put on the shelf.

It's cute and the price was right...

"No one needs a Victrola XX, a Perfected Graphophone Type G, or whatever you call those noisy things."
