L-door horn

Post by GregVTLA »

I have an L door, and the original horn is split up into 3 pieces. There is also a very strange paper-mache horn in it's place. Does anyone have an image of the horn from the back door as well as one from the front?

Thanks!
Greg

Thanks! Unfortunatly, it looks like I only have 1 horn section I could even use, so it looks like I'm going to be buying a new one. Nice Walnut one by the way :D!

Greg,

I have a spare VTLA Horn that my gf was gonna list on ebay along with my other spare parts, sometimes from unrepairable cabinets (Gardenia_Highway). She deals with parts sales as I deal with machine sales of those that I have replaced with rarer machines. You and if not, anyone else could have for $50 plus shipping, just PM me.

As it turns out, the VTLA and the later L-door model have the exact same dimensions. The only difference in the two horns is the L-door has the two useless little square holes on the underside of the mount and the VTLA has a decal on the inside of the bottom wood part that says “patent applied for”.
