The restoration looks as nice as a new one would look, but where did you find such a thing? It's absolutely gorgeous and, as rare as they are, I should think it would have been very difficult to acquire.

Thank you for your kind comments. I found it through a private collector in Connecticut . It was the first one I had ever seen. I spent quite a bit of time cleaning a carefully polishing the original finish. I am really thrilled to own this machine!

Spectacular machine--the way it looked over 100 years ago! Fantastic job maintaining the original coloration of the wood and the gold trim (no inauthentic gold leaf). A thing of beauty to enjoy--and wonderfully preserved for future generations of collectors!
