I am purchasing this machine and picking it up at the Wayne show.
It was offered online and someone posted before me. I figured it would be claimed but the first person never did so I got lucky. All I know is that it is what the seller has stated:
Seller:
This one I'm bringing to Wayne in April to sell. Very unusual - the dark stained oak boards are used on the top and bottom and the 4 oak hollow "pillars"' which conceal long metal studs holding it all together. The center is a rolled sheet metal horn painted faux wood grain. The grille is solid heavy cast iron. It has an underpowered single spring motor. No ID on the motor or the cabinet. Very gothic looking machine for sure.
Has anyone seen anything like it? IT looks like the unit was slathered is a brown cover stain? Or maybe that is the Nickel plating he was mentioning?
I am super excited either way but would love some information...
Kirk

I think there is a thread on a machine like this in some detail.
Hope this helps. A member SonnyPhono posted a similar version with a lid. You can read the discussion here..

Kirk- Now that looks very cool. I thought you were out of space, though.

Thank you for the thread link..
I will check it out.
Ugh I know George,
I don't have room and actually passed on another one this week. I have about 2 months to find a spot and to put aside the cash....

That's my machine! I love it but I am suffering from a lack of space for these larger table top models. The dark oak finish is the way I got it. It's a cool looking and very odd-ball machine that's totally under-powered but still plays a 10" record all the way through.
